Focusing on RE objectives: I can identify and describe beliefs about God that are held by Christians, Hindus and Muslims. I can retell and suggest the meanings of stories from sacred texts about people who encountered God. I can identify beliefs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that are held by Muslims. Planning for 6 lessons focusing on the key question ‘How and why do Christians follow Jesus?’ following the Derby City RE Agreed syllabus. Includes plan, SMART slides (also attached as a Powerpoint document for those who do not use SMART) and resources. I can explain how a person may be inspired to do something good by somebody else’s words or example.
